CLAT 2026 Application Form Live: The registration process for CLAT 2026 will be available from 1 August 2025, and the last date to apply is 31 October 2025. CLAT Application Form 2026 Latest Update

  • The CLAT Application Form 2026 has been released on 1 August 2025, and the last date to apply is 31 October 2025. The CLAT Exam 2026 will be released on 7 December 2025.
  • The CLAT Admit Card 2026 will be announced to be held on 5 November 2025*, and students can download CLAT 2026 Admit Card on the official website. 

To the complete CLAT 2026 Application Form, students must fulfill the eligibility rules and upload the required documents. These include Class 10th and 12th mark sheets, scanned photograph, scanned signature, valid ID proof, category certificate, PWD certificate (if applicable), BPL certificate (if applicable), and domicile certificate (only if required by certain NLUs). The registration fee is INR 4,000 for General category students and INR 3,500 for SC/ST students. The fee must be paid online to successfully submit the CLAT Application Form 2026

CLAT 2026 Application Form 

The CLAT 2026 Application Form will be released on 1 August 2025 to 31 October 2025, organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities into the best NLUs offering undergraduate and postgraduate low program. How to Fill Out the CLAT Application Form 2026?

Here are the steps that candidates can follow to fill out the application form:

Step 1: Candidates should visit the official website @consortiumofnlus.ac.in

Step 2: Click on new registration, and enter details like name, email, phone number, and password.

Step 3: Login using the credentials used in the process above. 

Step 4: Fill in personal details like date of birth, name, category, and nationality

Step 5: Fill in educational information like class 10th and 12th qualifications.

Step 6: Choose a preferred exam centre.

Step 7: Upload scanned copies of your signature, photo, and category certificate (if applicable)

Step 8: Make the payment of the application fees.

Step 9: Submit the form after carefully reviewing it.

Step 10: Take a printout of the successful submission of the application form.

CLAT 2026 Documents Specification

Candidates will be required to upload certain documents for the successful submission of the application form. The documents needed to be submitted are given below. 

  • Scanned passport-sized photograph.
  • Scanned signatures.
  • A valid govt. Id
  • Scanned the mark sheets of Class 10th and 12th.
  • PWD certificate (if applicable)

CLAT Application Form 2026 Correction Window 

The CLAT Application form 2026 correction window will be opened by the Consortium of National Law Universities by the last week of October, once the application form is closed. Candidates who made any mistake while filling out the application can correct it during the time frame till the application window is open. Candidates can make corrections in name, father’s name, educational information, signature, and exam centre preference. Details like registered email and mobile number, details of payment of the application fee, cannot be altered by candidates. 

Candidates who want to make specific changes in the form will have to log in to the official website of CLAT, go to the correction window tab to make changes, and then save the form. Candidates will have to pay a nominal fee to make corrections. The authorities have not disclosed the amount of fees. Candidates should keep visiting the official website of CLAT for updates regarding the application form for CLAT 2026.
