CMAT 2026 Exam Date Released: Check Complete Schedule and Other Official Details

The National Testing Agency has officially released the CMAT 2026 exam schedule which confirms the CMAT exam date 2026 as 25 January 2026. The Exam will take place in a CBT mode in English only. CMAT Exam 2026 is important for candidates as it is a key entry point for MBA and PGDM programs in more than 1,300 AICTE-approved colleges.

Furthermore, the duration of the exam will be 180 minutes, i.e 3 hours with no sectional time limits. Candidates can switch between all the sections freely which include Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

Each of the five sections features 20 questions which makes a total of 100 MCQs worth 400 marks. Test takers are given +4 for correct answers and -1 for incorrect. The Shifts of the CMAT exam are expected in the morning (9 AM-12 PM) and afternoon (3 PM-6 PM) across multiple cities.

CMAT 2026 Registration Important Dates Recap

The CMAT Exam 2026 registration process opened on 17 October 2025 and candidates could easily apply via the official website. The deadline to submit the application form was 24 November 2025 with fee payment by 25 November 2025. NTA also opened a correction window for applicants from 26 to 28 November 2025 to help them rectify their application errors.

CMAT 2026 Advance City Intimation & Admit Card Release

The NTA will first put out the CMAT Advance City Intimation Slip on its official website. It will tell the candidates their exam city so that they can plan travel for the 25 January 2026 exam. The Advance City Intimation Slip for the CMAT Exam 2026 is expected to be out on 17 January 2026. Then, the CMAT 2026 admit card will come 2-3 days later, tentatively on 20 January. It has the exact center address, shift time (9 AM-12 PM or 3-6 PM), rules, ID needs and other important details. Candidates can download both with their application number and date of birth. Also, they should print the admit card and take it to the exam.
