CUET-PG 2026 Updates: Registrations Started, Apply Before January 14
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started accepting applications for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programs (CUET-PG) 2026. As the CUET PG 2026 registration process is now underway, and eligible candidates can apply online through the official portal at exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg, before the deadline of January 14, 2026. Students who are in the final year of their undergraduate course and are expected to pass in the current academic session can also register for this national-level entrance exam for PG admissions.
Candidates are required to submit their applications only through the official website. As per the official announcement of CUET PG 2026, NTA will also provide an application correction window from January 18 to 20, 2025, through which aspirants will be able to change or correct the details in their already submitted forms.
CUET-PG 2026 Registration: Important Events and Dates
The National Testing Agency (NTA) revealed that CUET PG 2026 exams are scheduled for March 2026, and the specific dates for subjects will be intimated later. A total of 157 subjects will be part of the test, and the university admissions will be based on CUET-PG scores. The exams will be held in 292 cities, of which 16 are international centres located outside India.
In the last cycle, more than 6 lakh candidates had registered for CUET-PG 2025 out of which 5,23,032 actually took the exam and the attendance rate was close to 80%. Refer to the table below for all the important dates and events of the CUET PG 2026 registration.
