FMGE Application Form 2025

Graduates from foreign medical universities who wish to practice medicine in India must qualify for the FMGE to obtain a license. Conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the exam takes place twice a year, in June and December. The application process for the December 2025 session began on 14 November 2025, and the deadline for submission is 4 December 2025.

Candidates have to register themselves by visiting the official portal and entering their details like the name of the candidate, mobile number, date of birth, and email ID. After completing the registration process, they would have to log in again and complete the application form by entering their personal and educational details, and uploading the necessary documents like educational certificates, signature, and photograph. Those holding an MBBS-equivalent degree from a recognized foreign institution must also provide a confirmation letter from the Indian Embassy. Additionally, applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of INR 6,195 to finalise their registration

FMGE 2025 Application Fee

The application fee for FMGE 2025 is the same for all candidates irrespective of their category. Candidates should also keep in mind that the application form will be considered complete once the application fee is paid. It can be paid online on the portal by the available payment methods, like UPI, credit card, debit card, and net banking. 

How to fill out the FMGE Application Form 2025?

Step 1: Go to the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciencess (NBEMS) website. www.natboard.edu.in. 

Step 2: The Candidate must register by entering their details like name, nationality, date of birth, gender, email ID, and phone number.

Step 3: Log in again to the exam portal using their details and view the application for FMGE 2025. 

Step 4: Enter your personal, academic, and contact details, along with identification information, and choose your preferred exam city and test centre.

Step 5: Upload the required documents, like candidate photograph, signature, and other relevant certificates, in the prescribed format and size.

Step 6: Pay the application fee through available payment options like debit card, credit card, UPI or net banking.

Step 7: After reviewing all the details, submit the application form. 

Step 8: Download and take out print of the application form.

FMGE 2025 Documents Required

• Aadhaar/Voter/PAN

• Recent passport-size photographs 

• Scanned signature and thumb impression Class 10th and 12th passing mark sheets 
• MBBS degree certificate (certified by the Indian Embassy, if applicable) 
• Transcript of medical education 
• Internship completion certificate (if applicable) 
• Equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (for MBBS completed abroad)

• Passport copy

• Pass Certificate attested by the Indian Embassy/apostilled 

• Proof of citizenship (valid passport, OCI card, etc.)

FMGE 2025 Application Correction Window

The FMGE 2025 correction window is for students who made mistakes while filling out their application form. During this time, candidates can fix errors, and the window will be available around 29 December to 31 December 2025. However, students should remember that not all details in the application form can be changed or corrected.
