ICAI CA Group 2 Exam 2026: Paper 5 Dates Revised, Check Updated Schedule
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced on 27th December 2025, to reschedule its Intermediate Examination, Group 2, Paper-5, Audit & Ethics. In Partial modification of the Institute’s important announcement, No. 13-CA (EXAM)/JANUARY/2026 dated 23rd September 2025, ICAI has decided to reschedule its Intermediate Examination, Group 2, Paper-5, Audit & Ethics, dated 15th January 2026 (Thursday). Now the examination is scheduled for the date 19th January 2026(Monday). Due to the general elections of the Municipal Corporation in the state of Maharashtra. The timings for the examination will remain the same i.e. 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST), and the examination centres will also be the same as mentioned earlier in the Admit Cards.

Note: The timings for only 1 exam in CA Final (Group 2) i.e. Paper 6 Integrated Business Solutions (Multi - disciplinary Case Study) With Strategic Management is 2PM - 6PM. Rest timings of all other exams are scheduled for 2PM - 5PM.
However, the Institute has officially released the timetable for the CA May 2026 session for Intermediate, Foundation and Final Courses. Registrations will open on 3rd March 2026, while the last date to apply without a fee is 16th March 2026, and the last date to apply with a fee is 19th March 2026.
From May 2 to May 20, the May Session 2026 Exams will be conducted.
