IIM Bangalore & FPSB India Unveil CCMRMs PFWA Certificate Programme for 2026 Admissions
IIM Bangalore, in collaboration with FPSB India, which is the Indian Subsidiary of Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd, has launched a new certificate programme on Personal Finance and Wealth Advisory (PFWA). Centre for Capital Markets and Risk Management (CCMRM) has developed this programme.
Registrations for the programme are currently open, and the academic sessions will begin in March 2026. The PFWA curriculum is designed to address the growing need for a structured, credible training in personal finance and wealth advisory.
Furthermore, the curriculum focuses on building academic foundations with practical exposure. It also covers areas such as Microeconomics, Business decision-making, and financial advisory frameworks. Along with this, students will learn about market tools and data platforms and familiarise themselves with real-world financial analysis.
This program is suitable for those who want to build their career in personal finance and wealth advisory. People from financial institutions like Banks, NBFCs, AMCs, and other financial institutions will benefit from this programme.

What is the IIM Bangalore PFWA Programme?
With the help of this programme, students will equip themselves with knowledge, tools, and the entrepreneurial mindset to excel in the field of financial planning. The course also covers topics such as foundations of finance, advanced financial planning techniques, and business strategies.
This helps students to become independent financial planners, wealth planners, or they become the founders of financial planning ventures. Participants who complete this programme will receive the IIM Bangalore Executive Education Programme (EEP) alumni status. This course also makes students eligible for a fast track way to a globally recognised Certified Financial Planner certification.
IIM Bangalore Admission Schedule for PFWA Course
The programme consists of 140 sessions that will be delivered in blended mode, which includes online classes and offline classes. Out of these 50 sessions will be given in in-person, and 90 sessions will be given online. Moreover, the timings for offline sessions will be 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the timings for live-online sessions will be 9:00 AM to 1:15 PM.
