IIT Delhi Placements 2025-26: 1,277 PPOs with 33% Surge, Over 1,140 Students Placed
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi students have received 1277 pre-placement offers, out of which more than 1,140 students were successfully placed in December. According to the official press release, this year has received more than 300 PPOs, a staggering increase of more than 33 percent compared to last year. The institute also made a record of more than 35 international offers from organizations located in different parts of the world, such as Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, the UAE and the United Kingdom.

Professor's Comments on Placement Season

Placement Timeline and Abu Dhabi Campus Update
The placement season for IIT Delhi 2025–26 will continue until the end of May, with the Office of Career Services (OCS) actively coordinating upcoming recruitment activities. According to updates shared with getadmissioninfo, the institute is optimistic about strong participation from recruiting companies in the coming months.
Meanwhile, the IIT Delhi–Abu Dhabi campus is expected to witness significant growth next year. As per a senior official, the student strength at the Abu Dhabi campus is projected to reach nearly 400 students, almost double its current enrollment.
Speaking to an Indian reporter during a campus visit, Shantanu Roy, Executive Director of IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi, stated that the overseas campus is still in its early stages with around 182 students at present, compared to nearly 12,000 students at the main IIT Delhi campus.
