JAC Releases 2026 Board Exam Datesheet: Full Schedule for Class 10 & 12, Practical Timelines, Admit Cards & Result Updates
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) released the official JAC 10th and 12th Exam Datesheet 2026 online, signalling the start of the last academic year for many students in Jharkhand. The newly unveiled timetable is a comprehensive guide to the written tests, practical schedules, admit card issuance, and tentative dates for the results. The board exams are going to be held from February 3, 2026. Appearing students should now step up their preparation if they want to get good marks. According to the council, the board examinations for both Matric (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) will follow a two-phase structure and will commence simultaneously. Schools have been instructed to adhere to JAC’s guidelines and complete all internal assessments and practical exams as per the official schedule.
JAC Exam Duration and Overview
JAC has urged students to carefully go through the exam timetable to avoid confusion, especially since the schedule includes various language and stream-specific subjects. The examination window is as follows:
Class 10 (Matric): February 3 to February 17, 2026
Class 12 (Intermediate): February 3 to February 23, 2026
JAC Admit Card Release Dates 2026
The council has announced the official dates for hall ticket availability:
Class 10 Admit Card: January 16, 2026
Class 12 Admit Card: January 17, 2026
Students can access their admit cards through the school login portal. Schools are responsible for verifying student details to prevent discrepancies that might affect certification or result processing.
Practical Exams and Internal Assessment Instructions
Practical examinations for both classes are scheduled between February 24 and March 7, 2026. Schools must upload the practical and internal marks between February 25 and March 9, 2026. The council has emphasised:
No offline submissions will be accepted
Late mark uploads will not be permitted
Any delay impacting results will be the sole responsibility of the school principal
Evaluation work will continue throughout March, and the JAC 10th and 12th Results 2026 are likely to be declared by the end of April 2026, in line with JAC’s usual academic timeline.
