JUET PGET Exam 2025: Check Application, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Exam Pattern, Syllabus & Results


The Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology (JUET) started the application process for the Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) on 1 February 2025. Interested candidates could apply online and offline by filling out the JUET PGET application form before 8 June 2025. The admit cards for JUET PGET 2025 are expected to be issued on 30 June 2025*. The JUET PGET 2025 examination will be conducted on 5 July 2025 for admission into the M.Tech program in various disciplines. 

To apply online, candidates had to visit the official website of JUET and fill out the available application form. The application fee costs INR 1000, which can be paid through net banking and credit/debit card. 

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for any updates regarding the admit card and the examination. After the release of JUET PGET 2025 admit cards, students will be able to download them on the official website of the university by entering their respective login details.

On average, the per-semester fees of these courses are around INR 64000. The eligibility criteria to take admission in this course require students to have passed B.Tech. in the relevant field from a recognised university with 60% marks.

JUET GUNA PGET 2025 Exam

The JUET GUNA PGET 2025 is conducted by the Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology (JUET) for admissions into their postgraduate courses in disciplines like chemical, civil, computer science, and mechanical engineering. The JUET entrance exam will be conducted on 5 July 2025. The application form for the examination was released on 1 February 2025; interested students could apply in both online and offline modes.

The eligibility criteria require candidates to have completed a B.Tech degree from a recognized university with at least 60% marks. The last date to submit the application form for the examination was 8 June, 2025, which costs INR 1000 and can be paid online through debit/credit card and UPI. Candidates who applied to appear in the examination will be able to download their admit cards on the official website of the university by just entering their login details and password. Students are advised to regularly check the official website for any updates related to the admit card release and the examination.

JUET PGET Admit Card 2025

JUET is expected to release the PGET Admit Card on 30 June 2025* on their official website. Candidates can check and download their respective admit cards by logging in to their profiles and entering the details, such as the application number and password. 

Every candidate must download their admit cards before the day of the examination, as the admit card is a crucial document while appearing in any exam, and the candidate won't be allowed to enter the examination hall in its absence. It contains important information like the candidate’s name, DOB, roll number, venue details, timing, and guidelines for the examination day.

JUET PGET Exam 2025 Answer Key

The JUET has not released any official notification regarding the Answer Key of JUET PGET 2025. If JUET releases the answer key, it will be uploaded to their official website after the examination. Candidates can check the correct answers and compare them with their responses to assess their chances of securing a seat in JUET.

The answer key consists of all the correct answers to the questions that appeared in the exam. It allows students to get an estimated idea of their performance. In case of any error/discrepancy, candidates can challenge the answer key by emailing the authorities.

Write an email to the official mail ID of JUET, explaining the error, and also attach the picture of the discrepancy.

JUET PGET 2025 Exam Result

The JUET will announce the JUET PGET 2025 results on 6 July 2025*. Candidates can access their results on the official website by logging in with their login credentials (e.g., ID, password, and roll number). 

The JUET PGET 2025 exam result contains the candidate’s name, roll number, category, and secured rank. JUET will allocate seats based on these results and the category of the students. GATE results are also accepted for getting admission to JUET M.Tech courses, so candidates who appeared for the GATE 2025 can also apply to participate in the counselling process.

JUET PGET Counselling and Seat Allotment Process

Once the JUET PGET 2025 results are announced, JUET will create a merit list on the basis of the marks scored in PGET and GATE. First, the selected candidates will receive a provisional admission. Students need to submit their eligibility proof and admission fees to confirm their admission to the allocated program.

Candidates who appeared in the GATE examination can apply for admission by using their GATE score; they don't need to appear in JUET PGET 2025. After candidates pay the academic fee, the final merit list will be made, and their admission will be confirmed.

JUET PGET Pattern and Marking Scheme 

There is a total of 50 questions in the JUET PGET 2025 question paper. The question paper is divided into two sections, the first being mathematics and the second being specific to the selected branch. Candidates will get 120 minutes to attempt all of the questions. Each correct answer will be awarded +2 marks. Candidates must ensure that they attempt all of the questions within the time frame.

JUET PGET Exam Pattern 2025

The JUET PGET exam pattern is set by Jaypee Institute, and it consists of two sections. The first section of the exam consists of mathematics, comprising 15 questions, and Section 2 is related to the subject to which the candidate is going to apply. It consists of 35 questions. This structure ensures a balanced assessment of the candidate in both core mathematical skills and specialised knowledge in the candidate’s chosen engineering discipline.

JUET PGET Exam Marking Scheme 2025

The JUET PGET paper comprises a total of 50 multiple-choice questions, out of which 15 are based on Mathematics and 35 on branch-specific subjects, totalling to 100 marks. Each correct response gives candidates 2 marks, and there is no negative marking.

The JUET PGET application form 2025 was released on 1 February 2025 in both online and offline modes, and the last date for submitting the form was 8 June 2025. Candidates could fill out the online application form on the official website of the university by registering themselves using a valid email ID and phone number. Or download the application from the official website of the university and submit it along with a demand draft or cheque. 

The application fee costs INR 1000, which can be paid online through net banking and credit/debit cards. Candidates should carefully check the details filled in the application, like name, DOB, program, etc. Any kind of error can lead to the rejection of the application.

While submitting the application form offline, candidates must ensure that they fill out all of the required information, paste their passport-size photograph, and make sure the address on the mail is correct.
