The Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) offers admission in the Bachelor of Technology program at the Undergraduate level. JEE Main: To take admission in the B.Tech program, all students must appear for the JEE Main exam. The NTA is responsible for conducting this exam. The university does not hold its own entrance test for B.Tech. Instead, it uses the JEE Main score and rank to give admissions. After appearing for JEE Main, every student must register on the GGSIPU admission website. 

CET Exam: Students who want to take admission directly into the second year must appear for the CET exam conducted by GGSIPU. Admissions are given based on the rank scored in the CET. These students also need to register on the GGSIPU website as per the university rules.

To take admission in B.Tech at the institute students must meet the Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology eligibility criteria and also clear the entrance exam. Students can join either after completing Class 12th or after a diploma.
