MAT December Result 2025: Download Scorecard, Percentile, Cutoff

MAT Result 2025: The MAT 2025 result for both the PBT and CBT modes is expected to be announced in the 2nd week of January 2026. The official confirmation of the result date is still awaited from the All India Management Association (AIMA). The MAT Exam 2025 will be conducted on December 13 and December 21, 2025 (Sunday). Once declared, candidates can check their results on the official website mat.aima.in. To download the MAT 2025 scorecard, students must log in using their registered email ID and password or mobile number and OTP. After successful login, the result will appear on the candidate dashboard, available for viewing and download.

For MBA or PGDM admissions, candidates who appeared for multiple sessions of the MAT 2025 exam can use the best of all attempts for their admission. Students can apply to other colleges too apart from the institutes selected, while filling out the application form. The scorecard is valid for one year, and candidates will be selected for MBA or PGDM programs on the basis of their MAT scores and PI round results.

MAT December Result 2025

The MAT December 2025 result will be released on the official website at mat.aima.in, where candidates can easily view and download their scorecards. The result will be announced separately based on the test mode chosen by the student. Applicants who took the exam on December 13 or December 21, 2025, can expect their results in the 2nd week of January 2026. The MAT scorecard plays a crucial role in securing admission to leading management institutes.

The MAT December 2025 result will be presented as a composite score in the range of 199-801. The scores of all four sections Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, and Mathematical Skills are calculated on a scale of 0-100. 

How to Check MAT Result 2025?

To check the MAT results December 2025, candidates must note that the results are announced only in online mode at the AIMA-MAT website. Here are the steps that the candidates can follow to navigate the results downloading process:

Step 1: The results will be declared at the official AIMA-MAT website. Click on the link to be redirected to the login page. @mat.aima.in

Step 2: On the login page, candidates can either log in with their email address and password, or they can log in with OTP by entering their registered mobile number and the OTP received. 

Step 3: On the student dashboard, the MAT December 2025 results/scorecard will be displayed. 

Step 4: Click on the link, and your scorecard will be displayed on the screen. 

Step 5: Download the MAT 2025 result-cum-scorecard.

MAT December 2025 Result Validity

The MAT December 2025 result will be valid for one year from the date of the declaration of the results. Candidates with good MAT scores will be eligible to apply to top business schools and can enroll in MBA and PGDM programs. The MAT scores are accepted by more than 600 business institutions offering MBA/PGDM programs. 

MAT Cutoff 2025

The MAT cutoff 2025 will not be released by AIMA-MAT, as there is no official MAT cutoff. However, individual business schools will be releasing their particular cutoff scores based on the MAT scores and further evaluation rounds. Hence, in order to make it to the target college, candidates need to prepare for the WAT, GD, and PI rounds. With the MAT exam being conducted about four times a year, if the candidates are not satisfied with their results, they can reappear in the next session.

What’s Next after the MAT Result December 2025?

Once the results of the MAT December 2025 are declared on the official website by the second week of October 2025, the next step for candidates is to start preparing for their admission to business schools. AIMA will be sending the scores directly to the 5 colleges selected in the application form (7 for those who selected PBT and CBT). If the candidates satisfy the cutoff scores of the selected institutes, they will receive a call from the institute for WAT, GD, and PI. If the candidate wants to apply to other colleges other than the selected ones, then they can do so by filling out the application form separately.

MAT 2025 Marking Scheme

The MAT 2025 exam pattern and marking scheme have been released by AIMA. The latest pattern mentions that the exam duration will be 120 minutes, and during this duration, candidates have to answer 5 sections containing 30 questions each, taking the total number of questions to 150. As per the marking scheme for the MAT exam, each question carries 1 mark, and negative marking of -0.25 will be applicable for each incorrect answer.
