NMAM Institute of Technology 2025: Dates, Eligibility, Fees

NMAM Institute of Technology BTech Admission 2025: Admissions at NMAMIT (NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte) to B.Tech courses in the 2025-26 academic year will be based on the NUCAT  Test. NMAM Institute of Technology BTech Admission process is going to commence soon through the entrance exam. The NUCET Test 3 exam date is from 14 June 2025 to 16 June 2025, and the announcement of the exam result is 21 June 2025

NMAMIT B.Tech is a 4-year undergraduate programme conducted under Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT) in General and Inclusivity categories, with 20 % of the seats in each branch being filled by high-ranked (80 % and above in PCM) candidates who are given 20 to 40 % tuition waivers. 

NRI candidates are admitted on Cass 12 PCM merit basis to the BTech program at this institute. NMAMIT BTech Admission 2025

B.Tech admissions at NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte, for the 2025–26 academic year are being done through the NUCAT test. The NUCAT Test 3 will be held from 14 June 2025 to 16 June 2025, and the results will be announced on 21 June 2025. Admission counselling for B.Tech programs will take place from 25 June to 8 July 2025. The academic session will start on 14 July 2025, and the last date for reporting is 31 July 2025.

There is no offline mode for application submission. Required documents such as Class 10 and 12 marksheets, entrance scorecard, transfer/migration certificates, caste/Aadhaar/residence certificates, and passport‑size photos must be uploaded during application and brought during counselling. Final selection is based on NUCAT merit, followed by document verification and counselling.

NMAMIT BTech Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the NMAM Institute of Technology (NMAMIT) B.Tech program for the 2025–26 academic year are as follows, based entirely on official NMAMIT/Nitte University information:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with not less than 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology, with English as one of the languages of study.
  • Reserved-category candidates (SC/ST) must have obtained a minimum of 45% aggregate in the above subjects.
  • Applicants must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31 December of the year of admission.
  • Final selection for the General and Inclusivity categories is based on merit in the NUCAT entrance exam.
  • NRI/PIO/FN candidates may be admitted based on inter‑se merit of their Class 12 PCM marks, without NUCAT.
  • Diploma holders seeking Lateral Entry into the second year must have completed their Diploma with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category), subject to university equivalence evaluation

NMAMIT BTech Entrance Exam 2025

NMAMIT accepts admissions to the B.Tech program based on merit from multiple sources. Candidates can apply with their Class 12 marks through NUCAT, or submit valid scores in recognised entrance exams, including JEE Main, KCET, or COMEDK‑UGET. Proof of these scores must be submitted during the application.

If a candidate’s entrance exam score meets NMAMIT’s eligibility criteria (50% aggregate in PCM/other specified subjects for the general category; 45% for SC/ST/OBC), they will be called for a counselling session for final selection. Final admission is also subject to the availability of seats in the chosen branch.

For those applying based solely on Class 12 marks under NUCAT, NMAMIT requires a minimum of 50% aggregate in required subjects (45% for SC/ST/OBC). Counselling and seat allotment follow based on ranking and seat availability.
