SRMJEEE Phase 1 Exam 2026

SRMJEEE 2026 Phase 1 is the admission process into the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. The candidates who are looking to take admission into B. Tech and Integrated M.Tech programs at SRM can fill up the form before April 16, 2026. The exam will be conducted in Remote Proctored Online Mode on April 23, 28, 2026 allowing students to take the test from their home using a laptop or desktop with an internet connection. 

The admit card for the exam will be released a few days before the start of the exam, and the results of it are typically declared a week after the exam is conducted. It will be followed by choice filling and program allocation shortly. The exam consists of 130 questions of 130 marks, and students will be given about 2.5 hours to complete the test. This phase is crucial for students who missed earlier rounds or want to improve their performance, as students who have given the exam in earlier rounds and have not scored well can again give the exam by registering as a new candidate.

SRMJEEE Phase 1 Admit Card 2026

Candidates who are going to appear in the phase 1 of the SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering, scheduled for April 23, 28, 2026. The SRMJEEE 2026 Counselling and Seat Allotment Process is the final step for candidates seeking admission into B.Tech programs at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. This process is expected to begin in April 2026, shortly after the Phase 1 results are declared.

Step 1: Candidates are required to sign in to the official SRMIST portal using their application number and date of birth to get to the counselling dashboard.

Step 2: During this stage, candidates have to select their preferred campus, program, and specialisation. Choices should be made carefully, as allotment of seats depends on both rank and subject availability.

Step 3: Based on the candidate’s SRMJEEE Phase 1 rank, preferences, and seat availability, SRMIST will release the seat allotment result.

SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria 2026

The eligibility criteria for the SRMJEEE 2026 consist of the general eligibility, which is common for every candidate, and then there is additional educational eligibility, which varies slightly depending on the course the candidate is going to apply for. Below is the detailed eligibility criteria.

General Eligibility

  • Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI). International applicants can apply under a separate category designated for foreign nationals.
  • Age Requirement: Applicants should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on or before July 31, 2026. There is no upper age limit specified.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognised board such as CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, IB, or NIOS.
  • Subjects Required:
    • For most B.Tech programs: Physics and Mathematics are compulsory, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Graphics, or Informatics Practices.
    • For Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, and Genetic Engineering, Biology is accepted in place of Mathematics.

Minimum Marks

  • A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the above subjects is required. 
  • Some campuses or programs may have higher cutoffs.

SRMJEEE Phase 1 Application Form 2026 

The SRMJEEE Phase 1 application form 2026 will be ongoing on October 30, 2025, offering candidates the final chance to apply for admission into B.Tech and Integrated M.Tech programs at SRM Institute. The last date to submit the application form is  April 16, 2026, and applicants must complete the registration, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee before the deadline. The application fee is INR 1400 per phase, and it is non-refundable. Candidates wishing to appear in multiple phases must submit separate applications and fees for each.
