CTET Application Form 2026: Apply Online, Dates, Fees
CTET Application Form 2026: The CTET 2026 is a national-level examination conducted to select candidates for teaching jobs in KVS, NVS, and government schools located in union territories. The Central Board of Central Secondary Education is expected to release the application form for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Once the CTET 2026 application forms are released, interested candidates can apply online on the official website of CTET.
The CTET Exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on 8 February 2026. Students who want to appear in the examination need to fill out the online application form and pay the application fee, which ranges from INR 500 to INR 1200, depending on the candidate’s category and whether they want to appear in EXAM 1, EXAM 2, or both. How to fill out CTET Application Form 2026?
Follow this step-by-step guide for candidates on how to fill out the CTET 2026 application form:
Step 1. Visit the official website of CTET 2026 at ctet.nic.in.
Step 2. Register by entering the required information like name, category, DOB, parents’ names, gender, mobile number, and email address.
Step 3. Then fill out the application form by entering their name, DOB, nationality, category qualifying exam, preferred language, exam type, and parents’ names. Candidates also need to fill in their top preferred center in order of preference (most preferred to least preferred).
Step 4. Upload a candidate’s scanned signature and passport-size photograph.
Step 5. Lastly, candidates need to pay the application fee online through net banking or a debit/credit card.
Step 6. Submit the application form and take a printout.

CTET Application Correction Window 2026
The CTET correction window is opened on 23 December to 26 December 2026. Students can edit and change the information filled in the form in case of any error while filling out the application form (e.g., name, address, exam, DOB, etc.). Candidates must ensure that all of the details uploaded during the correction window period are correct and updated.
For editing the application, candidates need to log in to their accounts on the official website and re-enter the correct information. After the correction window is closed, students will not be able to edit the uploaded information, so students are advised to check the application form attentively before submitting.
