The results of the MCAT 2026 are expected to be announced approximately one month after the MCAT Exam 2026 date by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). The MCAT is a globally accepted entrance exam conducted by the AAMC for admission into medical programs across the USA, Canada, Australia, and a few other countries. To be eligible, candidates must hold an undergraduate degree in medical science or have completed an MBBS. Each eligible candidate is allowed up to seven attempts to pass the exam.

Step 2. Go to the result tab of the website

Step 3. Click on the “MCAT Result 2026 ” option.  

Step 4. Log in using the candidate’s login credentials (e.g., application number and date of birth). Then enter the security code visible on the screen, and the result will come up on the screen.

Step 5. Download and print the scorecard for the further admission process.

MCAT 2026 Cutoff

There are no official MCAT 2026 cutoffs released by AAMC for the MCAT examination. Candidates need to directly apply to their preferred university by using the MCAT 2026 scores. After the completion of the application process, the university will schedule an interview for the selected candidates. Lastly, universities will offer admission to the selected candidates on the basis of the MCAT score, educational background, and interview. 

What’s Next after the results?

After the results are announced, qualified candidates will be able to apply to get admission to medical colleges across the USA, Canada, and Australia. Candidates need to submit their scores along with the application to get admission to these medical colleges. This will be followed by the scheduling of an interview for the candidates whose applications were selected by the university. 

In case of any discrepancy in the question paper, candidates need to object within 5 days after the date of the examination. This can be done by sending an email to the official MCAT mail ID, explaining the error, and attaching a picture of the discrepancy as proof. The AAMC will evaluate the error and resolve it before the declaration of results.

MCAT 2026 Counselling Process

There is no set counselling process after the MCAT examination. Each candidate needs to apply to the preferred college using the marks scored on the MCAT 2026. Along with scores, candidates would need to submit an application filled with all of the required information and documents. If the candidate gets shortlisted, the university will schedule an interview. After the interviewing process, a final list of selected candidates will be made, and they will receive an offer letter to join the program.
