UGC NET Admit Card 2025: Download Hall Ticket, Release Date


The UGC NET Admit Card 2025 for the June session is expected to be released 2–3 days before the exam. For the UGC NET June session, the card will most probably be available on 22nd June 2025. The exam is scheduled from June 25 to June 29, 2025. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official UGC NET website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, by logging in with their application number and password, or date of birth.

Before the admit card, the City Intimation Slip will be issued around 10 days before the exam date. The admit card will contain essential details like your exam date, shift timing, test center address, and instructions for exam day.

The admit card will only be issued to those who fill out the application form before the last date of submitting the application, that is, 16th May 2025. The application form should have no mistakes in details, which could further result in rejection of the admit card.

Downloading the UGC NET 2025 Admit Card is simple; just follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in 

Step 2: Click on the link that says “Download UGC NET Admit Card 2025.”

Step 3: Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the Security PIN displayed on the screen

Step 4: Click Submit

Step 5: Your admit card will appear—download the PDF and take a few printouts for the future.

The UGC NET June 2025 exam will be held from June 25 to June 29, 2025. The exam will take place in two shifts each day—one in the morning from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second in the afternoon from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
No, the NTA has not released the admit card for UGC NET June 2025 yet. It is expected to be available around mid-June, about 10 to 12 days before the exam date. Students should regularly check the official website (ugcnet.nta.ac.in) for updates.
UGC NET 2025 will have two papers conducted in a single session of 3 hours. Paper 1 will have 50 questions based on teaching and research ability and will carry 100 marks. Paper 2 will have 100 questions from the candidate’s chosen subject and will carry 200 marks. There is no negative marking, and all questions are multiple-choice.
Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of their Master’s degree (like MA, MSc, MCom) can apply for UGC NET 2025. They must have at least 55% marks (or 50% for reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and PwD). For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the age limit is 30 years (relaxation is given to reserved categories), while for the Assistant Professor post, there is no age limit.
