The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET December 2025 examination in computer-based mode. The exam will be held for 85 subjects at different exam centres across the country. The UGC NET Exam 2025 will take place on 31 December 2025, 02 January 2026, 03 January 2026, 05 January 2026, 06 January 2026 and 07 January 2026.

Candidates have already been informed about their exam city and exam date through the city intimation slip released earlier by NTA. The admit cards for candidates whose exams are scheduled on 03 January 2026, 05 January 2026, 06 January 2026 and 07 January 2026 have been released on 31 December 2025.

Candidates must download their admit card from the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in using their login details. They should read all the instructions on the admit card carefully.

How to Download UGC NET December 2025 Admit Card 

Step 1: First, visit the official UGC NET website at https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in using your login credentials 

Step 2: On the website’s first page, click on the link that says UGC NET December 2025 Admit Card.

Step 3: Once you have clicked the admit card link, a login page will appear. Input the application number, date of birth and security number presented on the screen.

Step 4: You fill in all the details, then you click on the Submit button. You will then see your admit card.

Step 5: Check all the details mentioned on the admit card, such as your name, exam date, exam time and exam centre.

Step 6: Download the admit card and take a printout. Keep it safe and carry it with you on the exam day.
