UGC NET December 2025: Admit Cards Now Available

The NTA has released the UGC NET December 2025 admit card, with the exam scheduled to start from 31st December 2025 to 7th January 2026. Admit cards for the rest of the exam dates will be out soon. Applicants who have registered successfully can download their admit card from the official website by providing the Application Number and Date of Birth.

Now, NTA has also released the UGC NET December 2025 City Intimation Slip, so the candidates can know their exam city much before the exam date and help them plan their travel accordingly. The admit card consists of the hall ticket number, date and time of examination, and the address of the examination centre. Take this with you into the exam hall, as you will not be permitted to sit the exam without it. Candidates must take the admit card to the exam. However, it is also necessary to check all the information mentioned in the admit card because if there is any discrepancy, it can also lead to disqualification. 

Steps to Download UGC NET Admit Card 2025

Step 1: Visit the official UGC NET website:ugcnet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Select the "Admit Card for UGC-NET December 2025 scheduled to be held on 31st Dec 2025 is LIVE!"

Step 3: A new window will open; click on UGC-NET December 2025 Admit Card (scheduled to be held on 31st Dec 2025)” to access the login page.

Step 4: Enter your Application Number and Password or Date of Birth used during registration.

Step 5: Once your admit card appears, download and print it for future reference.

Documents to Carry on Exam Day

Candidates must bring the following items to the exam centre:

  • Printed UGC NET Admit Card
  • A legitimate photo ID from the government (such as an Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, passport, etc.)
  • Two passport-sized photographs identical to those uploaded in the application

Candidates will not be allowed to take the test without these documents. Candidates should also reach the exam centre well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.

Details Mentioned on the Admit Card

The candidate and examination details page holds the following important information about the candidate and exam:

  • Candidate's Name
  • Roll Number
  •  Application Number.
  • Photograph and signature of the candidate.
  • Subject code and name.
  • Exam Date, Shift, And Duration.
  • Reporting time and gate closing time.
  • Full exam centre address.

Instructions for exam day 

In case of any discrepancy in the information printed on the admit card, the candidates should contact the NTA helpline number during working hours. Candidates are also advised to take the print out of the admit card and to bring it with them on the day of the examination. Though if there are discrepancies once more, applicants should still appear for the test with the downloaded admit card, as they may be rectified later by the organisation.
