CMRCET Admission 2025-26: Dates, Eligibility, Courses, Fees

CMRCET BTech Admission 2025

The BTech program at CMRCET is offered in many specialisations such as CE, CSE, EEE, Civil Engg., AI, etc. The admission process for BTech is primarily entrance-based, with seats allocated through TG EAPCET, a state-level engineering entrance exam. CMRCET has reserved 70% seats based on Convener Quota, aka through TG- EAPCET, while 30% seats are based on Management Quota.

EAPCET conducted its exam on 02 May 2025 and continued till 04 May 2025, for various Engineering and Technology courses. The registration process for counselling is expected to commence by July 2025 (Tentative). Based on this, CMR College of Engineering and Technology is currently accepting applications for its BTech program for the 2025-26 academic year. 

For BTech, candidates are required to fulfil basic eligibility criteria which is completion of Class 12 with a minimum of 5 CGPA or equivalent percentage with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths being the major subjects from Telangana Board or any recognised board. The tuition fee for the BTech specialised courses is INR 1,15,000 per annum.

CMRCET BTech Eligibility

Candidates getting admission into the BTech course at CMRCET are required to satisfy certain eligibility criteria set by the college.  A student must have passed Class 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) with a minimum of 5 CGPA from the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education or from any other recognised board.

All eligible students must appear for the EAPCET  (Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) exam conducted by the Telangana government. BTech admissions will be based on the rank secured in this exam, following government rules regarding seat reservations for different categories of candidates.

CMRCET BTech Entrance Exam

Telangana Council of Higher Education assigned Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad to conduct TG-EAPCET or Telangana Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test.

Admission to various BTech courses at CMR College of Engineering and Technology are accepted through the entrance exam TG-EAPCET-2025 conducted at the state level.

All students must appear in TG-EAPCET to get admission into BTech. EAPCET released its application form on 01 March 2025 and closed its application window on 04 April 2025.

The exams have already been conducted from 02 May 2025 to 04 May 2025. Applications to fill out the choice are open, and the counselling will begin from July 2025 (Tentative). Candidates are required to pay INR 900 (for General/ OBC/ EWS) and INR 500 (SC/ ST/ PwD) as a registration fee. 

How to Apply for BTech Admission at CMRCET

There are several disciplines such as CE, EEE, CSE, ME, AI, etc., under BTech that are offered at CMRCET. The admission to BTech for these specialisations is based on TG-EAPCET, a state-level entrance exam. 

All candidates who are interested in pursuing BTech are required to qualify for this exam. The college releases a merit list, and qualified candidates who satisfy the cut-off list can get admission to BTech courses. 

Applicants are required to fill out their application form by registering their personal and academic details, selecting their preferred BTech specialisation, paying the required fee, and finally submitting the form.
