YCCE BTech Admission 2025: Applications for the 2025-26 BTech program of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering(YCCE) are open. The admission process is conducted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) as well as the Institute Level Quota (ILQ). Candidates can fill out the application form on the college’s official website along with a fee of INR 1000. Candidates are required to fill out the application form before 31 August 2025(tentative).

YCCE BTech Admission 2025
The registration for the B.Tech program in YCCE is done through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). During the admission process, 80% seats are allotted on a merit basis under the SCET Cell guidelines. A separate merit list is used for 20% seats through the Institute Level Quota(ILQ). In ILQ admissions, MHT-CET or JEE Mains scores are considered.
It is important for the candidate to register for CAP and receive a merit score from the SCET Cell to apply for ILQ admissions. The remaining seats after CAP rounds due to non-allotment, non-reporting, or cancellations are filled according to the SCET guidelines under the Against Cap Vacancy (ACAP) process.
Interested candidates can apply on the official website of the SCET. The application process requires filling out a form and submitting relevant documents. Candidates can also apply for ILQ admissions on the university’s official website by filling out an online form and paying an application fee of INR 1,000.
YCCE BTech Eligibility Criteria
Selection to the BTech program of YCCE is done through the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates need to register for the Centralised Admission Process(CAP) for admission. It is necessary to get a Merit number assigned by the SCET Cell, Government of Maharashtra.
The application process can also be done on the university’s official website for the Institute Level Quota (ILQ). Candidates will need to fill out an online form and submit an application fee of INR 1,000. Admissions through Institutional Level Quota (ILQ) or vacant seats after CAP rounds (ACAP Seats) will not be done without the SCET Cell assigned merit number.
The eligibility criteria for the YCCE BTech program are as follows:
- Indian nationality is necessary.
- Candidates should pass the Class 12 exam with Physics and Maths with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for EWS or reserved categories of Maharashtra State only).
- A Non-Zero score in MHT-CET 2024 (for Maharashtra State Candidates) and MHT-CET 2024 & JEE Mains Paper-1 2024 (for All India Candidates), conducted by recognized authorities.
- Candidates should hold a Diploma in Engineering and Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for EWS or reserved categories of Maharashtra State only).
YCCE BTech Entrance Exam
Admissions in the YCCE BTech program are accepted on the merit list based on the score of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Candidates who are not shortlisted through the CAP process can apply through the Institute Level Quota (ILQ). Under the ILQ admission process, scores of entrance exams like JEE Mains and MHT-CET are considered.
Candidates must get a non-zero score in JEE Mains and MHT-CET to meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates applying under the ILQ process must apply for admission separately on the college’s official website. An application fee of INR 1,000 needs to be paid during the application process.

YCCE BTech Fee Structure
