JUIT Admission 2025-26: Dates, Eligibility, Admission, Fees
JUIT BTech Admission 2025-26: Jaypee University of Information Technology has opened applications for the BTech course for the 2025-26 academic year. BTech admission at JUIT is based on both JEE Main and Class 12 marks. The JEE-based applications were closed on 5 June 2025, and the counselling for JIIT, JUIT, JUET and JU-Anoopshahr began on 17 June 2025 till 20 June 2025. The last date of application was 20 May 2025, with the first round of counselling held on 25 May 2025 at the Solan campus. On-spot BTech Admission, subject to availability, will start from 25 June 2025.
JUIT provides a 4-year BTech course, and the seats offered are approximately 750 seats in diverse streams including CSE, IT, ECE, ECS, EEE (VLSI), Civil Engineering, Mathematics & Computing, Biotechnology, and Bioinformatics. CSE provides specialisation in AI & ML, AI & DS, Cyber Security, Full Stack Development, and UI/UX Design. At the 10+2 level, a minimum of 60% in PCM (PCM or PCB in the case of Biotech-allied courses) is required for BTech admission in JUIT.

Jaypee University of Information Technology BTech Admission 2025-26
B.Tech admissions for the 2025–26 academic year are conducted entirely through a common merit‐based counselling process overseen by Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida. Applications are submitted online via the official JUIT admissions portal, with separate forms required for JEE Main–based and 10+2 marks–based admissions. After online registration, candidates receive confirmation and application IDs. JEE-based applications closed on 5 June 2025, with counselling held from 17 to 20 June 2025 at the Noida campus. For 10+2 merit-based admissions (covering 50% of the total seats), the application deadline was 20 May 2025, and the first round of counselling took place on 25 May 2025 at the Solan campus. On-spot BTech admissions, subject to availability, are set to begin from 25 June 2025. No separate entrance test is required for admission.
During counselling, candidates must upload and present original documents, including the counselling invitation, government-issued photo ID, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, JEE Main scorecard, income certificate for fee waiver eligibility, migration certificate, caste/Aadhaar/residence certificate, and passport-sized photographs. A merit list is prepared based on JEE Main All India Rank or 10+2 performance, with seat allocation according to candidate preferences.

Educational Qualification:
The candidates must have passed or should be appearing in the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination in 2023, 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Mathematics & English as compulsory subjects. In order to seek admission into a Biotechnology or Bioinformatics course, the candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and either Biology, Biotechnology or Mathematics.
Academic Minimum:
In the case of general-category candidates, the aggregate percentage marks have to be 60% in the qualifying examination, 10+2.
Jaypee University of Information Technology BTech Entrance Exam
Given below is information about the required entrance exam for the BTech at Jaypee University of Information Technology:
- JEE (Main) – All India Rank Based: 80% of B.Tech seats are filled based on candidates’ JEE (Main) All India Rank. Candidates must have appeared in JEE Main 2025 (Paper 1) and secured the required rank. The merit list is prepared accordingly.
- 10+2 Marks-Based Merit: The remaining 20% of seats are reserved for students who pass Class 12 with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and any one additional subject (e.g. Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, etc.) 55% minimum for SC/ST candidates.
How to Apply to the BTech Program at Jaypee University Of Information Technology
Here are the steps for how to apply to the BTech program at the Jaypee University of Information Technology:
Step1. Select JEE (Main)–based or 10+2 marks–based admission via separate online application forms on the JUIT admissions page.
Step 2. Optionally download the e‑brochure (Parts I & II) and the offline application form if you prefer to apply via Demand Draft.
Step 3. Click “To Apply Online” under your chosen admission category.
Complete the online form with personal details, academic qualifications, preferred branches, etc.
Step 4. Pay the Application Fee of INR 1,200 via Credit/Debit Card, Net‑Banking, or UPI.
Alternatively, submit a DD of INR 1,200 in favour of “Jaypee University of Information Technology, payable at Shimla,” with your application ID noted on it.
Step 5. Once payment is processed, you’ll receive an Application ID and a confirmation email.
Upload a passport-size photograph and signatures (candidate & parent) in the online form.
Step 6. If awaiting 10+2 results, you may still apply provisionally.
Update results online once declared and before the deadline (as per the admission brochure).
Step 7. Merit-based counselling is conducted according to your chosen category:
JEE–based: attendance at JIIT Noida for central rounds, followed by sessions at Solan.
Step 8. After seat allocation, complete document verification and pay the admission token fee (a portion of semester fees).
Instructions for document submission and reporting will be provided at the counselling.
