DU Admission 2026

Admission to the Delhi University is generally based on entrance exam results and merit list. The CSAS admission forms are now accepted admission forms. The admission for the postgraduate and B.Tech courses for the 2026 session at Delhi University are open and the last date of admission form is 31st December 2025(Tentative).

Students who are applying for the B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed, MA Music and MFA courses are required to pay the additional charge of INR 400 per program, along with the application fee.

The tuition fee at DU ranges from INR 540 to INR 2.4 L, which may be subject to change as per the official notice and course specifications.

DU UG Admission 2026

The UG course admission depends on the CUET UG scores and the exam, as per the program requirements. The admission for the Delhi University UG courses is available at Delhi University. Moreover, the admission to the UG courses last date is 31st December 2025(Tentative).

The UG courses offered at the university are BA, B.Sc, B.Ed, B.P.Ed, B.Tech and others within the course span of 2 years to 4 years. Students who are willing to apply for the Delhi University admission must achieve a minimum passing score of 50% in the relevant subject. 

For securing a place in the B.Tech course, the JEE (Main) test scores are a mandatory requirement. The tuition fee for the undergraduate level courses at DU is in the range of INR 540 to INR 1,94,000.

DU PG Admission 2026

The admissions at the Delhi for the Postgraduate courses are currently open, the last date to apply for the PG courses is 31st December 2025(Tentative). Applicants are selected based on the scores released by the CUET PG and other exams applicable to the course chosen.

The CSAS PG application fee for the Delhi University is INR 250 for the UR, OBC-NCL, and EWS. Whereas for the SC, ST and PwBD students, the application fee is INR 100. 

Students can complete their Graduate course in 2 years of duration in LLM, M.Sc, MA, MBA and other PG degrees in various specialisations. For admission in the Master’s program, candidates must hold a 45% to 50% mark in their Undergraduate degree. 

The application fee for the MBA course ranges between INR 1,000 and INR 2,000, depending on the student's category.

DU PhD Admission 2026

Applicants seeking PhD courses at the University of Delhi are required to pay a PhD course tuition fee of INR 300. Programs offered at the Delhi University PhD level are available in different disciplines, including Humanities, Social Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Science, etc., within a time duration of 3 to 6 years.

The eligibility criteria for the PhD admission can differ as on the courses. However, a minimum mark of 50% in a master’s degree in the relevant discipline 

Students are required to pass the UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, and CUET(PhD) to be considered for the selection procedure of the university. The registration fee for the PhD course offered at UOD is INR 750 for the UR, EWS, and OBC-NCL. whereas for the SC, ST and PwBD is INR 300.

DU Admission Form 2026

Delhi University has already started admission for students for UG, PG, PhD, Diploma and Certificate Programs for the academic year 2026. Interested students can apply and fill their admission form on the official portal of Delhi University by the last date of 31st December 2025(Tentative). Admission of students in Delhi University is done on the basis of CUET entrance exam and merit. After that students have to apply for CSAS after clearing CUET.

For the PG and B.Tech courses, the admissions are closed for the academic session for most of the courses. For admission to the UG course, the CSAS application will start. The deadline of the application form is 31st December 2025(Tentative).

The application fee for the CSAS course is INR 250 for the UR, OBC-NCL and EWS, and INR 100 for the SC, ST and PwBD applicants. The application fee may vary as per the level and the program. Such as for the PhD degree course, the registration fee is INR 300 to INR 750 as per the student’s category. For the MBA course, the application fee ranges from INR 1,000 to INR 2,000.

DU Eligibility Criteria 2026

The entry requirement at the University of Delhi (UOD) differs as per the level of the course and the program specialisation. Find the eligibility criteria and the relevant exam requirements for the course from the information listed below:

• Students must score a minimum of 50% to 60% to be eligible for the 2026 admission in the relevant subjects.
• Selection for the Undergraduate courses is based on the CUET (UG) and other program-specific entrance exams.
  
• PG Programs:
  
• Applicants are required to hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in a relevant subject.
• To secure admission to the Postgraduate courses at DU, appearing for the CUET (PG) is a compulsory requirement.
• For some of the courses, the university accepts a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delhi as the only requirement.
• Diploma/Certificate:
  
• Students are required to pass the Class 12 with a minimum score of 45% to 50%.
  
• PhD:
  
• A Master’s degree with a minimum score of 55% is mandatory for the PhD course admission.
  
• The entrance tests required for the PhD course are UGC-NET, GATE, CISR-NET and others.

DU Admission Process 2026

The admission process for the DU is merit-based through the CUET exam. After clearing the CUET test, students are required to apply for the CSAS UG or PG admission before the last date, which is expected to be 31st December 2025(Tentative).

Step 2: Check the information related to the courses and the documents required.

Step 3: Register for the seat allocations at the university portal with the basic information, including the email ID, name, and others.

Step 4: Log in with the registration number and the password received by the university's official email.

Step 5: Fill the application form with the relevant information and the required documents, including the eligibility certificates and the admission details.

Step 6: Pay the application fee and apply for the seat allocation.

Step 7: Wait for the university's response to the application.
