CDS 2 Examination Guidelines 2025 

Here are some important guidelines that candidates need to follow while appearing for the CDS 2 examination on 14 September 2025:

  1. Candidates need to arrive before the starting time of the exam. 
  2. After the closing of the examination gate, candidates won't be able to enter the examination venue. That's why candidates are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes earlier than the reporting time. 
  3. This is an objective-type examination, so make sure you don't tick more than one answer.
  4. The CDS 2 consists of a total of 300 marks worth of questions. divided into three parts: English, GK, and Elementary Maths. 
  5. Candidates need to attempt questions divided into 3 parts within 6 hours.
  6. The exam will be conducted online (CBT- Computer-based test). 
  7. Candidates are advised to wear comfortable clothes to ensure that there is no distraction while appearing for the examination.
  8. Different academies have different examination requirements, so candidates must check them on the official website. 
  9. If there is any glitch on the computer, inform and seek help from the invigilator present.
  10. Mobile phones, smartwatches, and Bluetooth earphones are strictly prohibited. If any candidate is found carrying them in the examination, they will be automatically disqualified from the exam.
