UOU UG Admission 2026

UOU B.Ed Admission 2026

Uttarakhand Open University offers a B.Ed program through distance learning as well, specially designed for in-service teachers. Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), this program aims to enhance the professional skills of working educators. To be eligible, candidates must have a graduation degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC) and should either be trained in-service teachers in elementary education or have completed an NCTE-recognised teacher education program. 

Admission is granted based on the entrance examination conducted by the university. The B.Ed program has a duration of two years, which can be extended up to five years if needed. The semester fee for the course is between INR 10,350 and INR 14,850.

These PG programs usually span two years, with a maximum duration of four years for completion. Applicants must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
