DAVV Admission 2026: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya has opened admission for Online UG and PG Programs for the January 2026 session, with the last date to fill out the application form as 30th November 2025(Tentative). Applications for open and distance learning will open soon.

The university offers a wide range of courses, mainly Bachelor of Engineering, BA Journalism, BA LLB. (Hons), B.Com (Hons), B.Sc (Hons) in Mathematics, M.Tech, MBA (Foreign Trade), M.Sc / M.Pharm, Certificate, etc. The university also offers certificates and diploma courses. The admission process is both online and offline.

The university also provides an open and distance learning model so that every student can get an education. Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya was established in 1964 with a mission to provide demand-based educational programs to enhance skills and employability. 239 colleges are affiliated with DAVV. It is recognised by UGC and AICTE. DAVV obtained an "A+" grade from NAAC.

Davv has started Admissions for the Non-CUTE programs for the 2026 academic session. Various Non-CUTE programs are offered by the DAVV including MBA (Executive), MBA (Hospital Administration), MBA (Public Health), M.Sc programs in diverse fields such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, M.A. programs in Economics, Clinical Psychology, and B.Sc programs in Computer Science. 

Various Certificate and Diploma courses, including those in Digital Marketing, Exports Imports Management, MBA and MCA programs through Open and Distance Learning and M.Tech, etc. The last date to apply for these courses is 30th November 2025(Tentative).

The application fee depends on the program. DAVV application fee for non-technical programs is INR 750 and for SC/ST it is INR 400. The application fee for technical programs is INR 1,000 and for SC/ST it is INR 600.

Admission for Non-CUET courses are based on merit, which will be decided by the respective department using its own criteria such as counselling, written exam, qualifying marks, interview, or a combination of these methods. (This does not apply to M.P.Ed., B.Ed., and M.Ed. courses).

DAVV UG Admission 2026

Various undergraduate programs are offered by the university, including BA, BE (Computer Engineering), B.Sc, B.Pharm, BA LLB, and B.Voc.-Nutrition & Dietetics etc. These courses have their own eligibility criteria and course duration. 

The eligibility criteria depend on the programs, but generally, students must have passed Class 12 with at least 45% marks from a recognised board and 40% marks for the SC/ST category. 

The fee range for UG programs depends on the course, like BA (Journalism & Mass Communication) annual fee is INR 41,332 for boys and INR 40,916 for girls, and BSc (Mathematics Hons) annual fee is INR 32,832 for boys and INR 32,416 for girls. The application fee depends on the category of the applicant INR 700 has to be paid for general category students and INR 400 for SC/ST category.

Admissions for PG courses are provided by the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya for the academic session 2026. The last date for submission of the application is 30th November 2025(Tentative). The university offers various PG programs, mainly including MBA, ME/MTech, MSc/M.Pharma, MA/M.Com,/LLM, MLI.Sc/M.Voc etc.  

Admission to most of the courses is based on merit. To become eligible for PG admissions, students must complete their Graduation degree with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognised university. The fee range for PG programs varies depending on the courses, like the annual fee for M.Sc in Data Science for Logistics is INR 43,711 for boys and INR 43,333 for girls, and M.Tech (Full Time) annual fee is INR 68,211 for boys and INR 67,833 for girls. The application fee is Rs 700 for the general category and Rs 400 for the SC/ST category.

The university offers Certificate/Diploma programs in various fields like Digital Marketing, Import and Export Management, Logistics & Supply (Cargo Management), Interior Designing, Photography, Script writing, Sindhi Language & Literature and Diploma in Pharmacy etc. The last date of Admissions for the certificate programs is 30th November 2025(Tentative). 

The course duration for Certificate programs usually ranges from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the program. Interested students must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. The fees for Certificate programs are low, allowing many students to enroll in them. The Certification course (French/German/Spanish) fee is INR 8,750. Certificate program application fee was INR 700 for general category and INR 400 for SC/ST catogry.

DAVV PhD Admission 2026

Various PhD courses such as Business & Management Studies, Science, Law, Humanities & Social Sciences, Engineering, Teaching & Education, Mass Communication & Media, and Architecture & Planning are offered by the DAVV. 

To pursue a PhD at DAVV, Students must first appear for the Doctoral Entrance Test (DET). After successful completion of the DET, the candidate may need to attend an interview with the Research Advisory Committee (RAC). The minimum eligibility for PhD program is 55% marks in Master's degree (relaxation for reserved categories).

DAVV Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026

The university offers a wide range of UG, PG, PhD and Diploma & Certificate level courses in various departments. However, each course has its own eligibility criteria in different specialisations. To get admission in UG programs, the basic requirement is passing Class 12.

UG Programs 

• Students must have passed class 12 in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks for BA (HONOURS IN ECONOMICS) admission. 
• B.Sc (Hons) in Physics: Class 12 in Science Stream, with Mathematics and Physics, with at least 50% marks.
• B.A (Journalism): Class 12 in any stream with 50% marks. 
• B.Com Accounting & Tax Management: Class 12 in Commerce/Science with 50% marks. 

PG Programs:

• MBA (Business Analytics): Class 12 with Mathematics as a subject. Any Bachelor's degree from a recognised University/Institute with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade for General/OBC candidates and 45% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST and Differently Abled (DA) category Students.
• MBA (E-Commerce): Graduation in any stream with at least 50% marks is required. SC/ST candidates from Madhya Pradesh and physically challenged (as defined by the M.P. Government) will get a 5% relaxation in the required marks.
• MBA (Foreign Trade): Graduation in any stream with min 50% marks.
• MBA Rural Development: Students must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (or an equivalent grade) for the General and OBC categories. For SC/ST and Differently Abled (DA) candidates, 45% marks (or an equivalent grade) are required. The degree must be from a recognised University or Institute.

Certificate/Diploma Programs:

• Diploma in Screenplay Writing: Students must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent with at least 50% marks for the General/ OBC categories. For SC/ST and Differently Abled, 45% marks are required. The marks should be from a recognised board.
• Diploma in Interior Designing: Must pass Class 12 or equivalent in any stream, minimum with 50% Marks.
• PG Diploma in Human Rights: Degree or Postgraduate degree in any stream with 50 % marks

PhD Programs:

• PhD courses: The DET is a mandatory entrance exam for admission to Ph.D programs at DAVV.
