OUAT PG Exam 2025: The application form of OUAT PG for admissions into PG and PhD programmes was released on 5 May 2025, and the last date for its submission was 25 May 2025. Similarly, the applications for M.VSc. will be released on 15 September 2025. The admit cards for OUAT PG (except M.V.Sc.) were issued on 10 June 2025, a few days before the exam, which is expected to be held on 18 June 2025. It is conducted in computer-based mode (CBT). The Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology Postgraduate Entrance Exam 2025 (OUAT PG) is a state-level entrance exam for students eyeing to pursue postgraduate studies in agriculture and allied sciences. The application fee for the exam is INR 2000, which needs to be paid through available payment options like UPI, debit card, credit card and net banking.
Candidates who want to give the OUAT PG must be Indian nationals and should hold a relevant bachelor’s degree in agriculture or allied sciences from a recognised university, with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD). OUAT PG Exam 2025
The OUAT PG Entrance Exam will be conducted by the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) for admissions into postgraduate and doctoral programs in agriculture and allied sciences, including M.Sc., M.Tech., and M.V.Sc. courses. For the 2025 session, the application process for most PG programs began on 5th May 2025 and closed on 25th May 2025, while the M.V.Sc. application window will be open separately from 15th September to 3rd October 2025. Admit cards for the general PG and PhD entrance exam were released on 10 June 2025, and the exam is expected to be held on 18 June 2025, whereas the M.V.Sc. entrance test is scheduled for 12 November 2025. OUAT PG Exam 2025 Admit Card
The OUAT PG 2025 Admit Card is very important for candidates appearing in the postgraduate entrance examination which the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology conducts. OUAT PG Exam 2025 Answer Key
The OUAT PG 2025 Answer Key is released by the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology to help candidates assess their performance in the entrance exam. For M.Sc. and other PG programs, the official answer key will be published on 4 July 2025, after the exam is held on 18 June 2025. It will be available on the OUAT Admissions Portal, along with the candidate response sheets, allowing candidates to cross-check their answers and have an idea about their scores. The answer key includes the correct responses to all the questions asked in the exam. If candidates find any discrepancies, then they will be given a objection window to raise objections. For M.V.Sc. applicants, the Answer Key will be released in 20 November 2025, after their exam on 12th November 2025.
OUAT PG Exam 2025 Result
The OUAT PG 2025 Result will be released separately for different programs by the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology. For PG and PhD courses, the result will be released on 8 August 2025, following the entrance exam held on 18th June 2025. Candidates can check their marks, rank, and merit status by logging into the OUAT Admissions Portal. The result will include a downloadable rank card and scorecard, which are important for counseling.
For M.V.Sc., the result will be declared on 12 December 2025, after the entrance exam is conducted on 12 November 2025. The university will also release an intimation-cum-rank card for shortlisted candidates, who will then be invited to participate in the counseling and admission process.
OUAT PG Exam 2025 Counselling and Seat Allotment Process
The OUAT PG 2025 Counselling and Seat Allotment Process is a centralized, merit-based admission procedure conducted by the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology for postgraduate programs such as M.Sc., M.Tech., M.V.Sc., and Ph.D. courses. For M.Sc. and PG programs, counselling is scheduled from 20 to 22 August 2025, for PhD it will be conducted on 30 August 2025 and M.V.Sc. counselling will take place on 30 December 2025. Below are the steps for participating in the counselling process:
- Candidates must first register online via the OUAT Admissions Portal and fill out the application form, before uploading required documents like academic certificates, category proof (if applicable), passport-size photograph, and a signature.
- Based on the entrance exam scores and academic records, a merit list will be prepared, and seats will be allotted accordingly.
- During counselling, candidates must verify their documents and confirm their admission by paying the mentioned application fee. If a candidate fails to pay the fee and submit valid documents, their seat may be allotted to another candidate.
- The seat allotment is conducted in multiple rounds and once a seat is allotted in a specific course and category, internal transfers will not be permitted. The entire process is conducted online, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all applicants.
OUAT PG Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
The OUAT PG entrance exam will consist of 200 questions and will be of 2 hours. There will be no negative marking and for every correct answer 1 marks will be given to the candidates. It is mandatory for the candidates to give the entrance exam to get admission into the OUAT so it is advised that they get familiar with the exam pattern and marking scheme.

OUAT PG Eligibility Criteria
General Eligibility
- Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
- Domicile: Candidates should be permanent residents of Odisha. Non-domicile candidates may be considered for limited seats..
- Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for postgraduate programs.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Degree Requirement:
For PG courses, a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from a recognised university or institution is required.
For PhD programmes, the postgraduate degree must be related to the Ph.D. specialisation applied for
- Final-Year Students: Candidates appearing in their final year of graduation are eligible, but they must submit proof of qualification by the specified deadline.

OUAT PG Exam 2025 Application Form

OUAT PG Exam 2025 Cutoff
The OUAT PG 2025 cutoff means it is the minimum marks or rank required for a candidate to qualify for admission into postgraduate programs at the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology.
