UPCATET Answer Key 2025: Download PDF & Calculate Your Marks


The UPCATET 2025 Answer Key will be released in two phases, provisional and final, by Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur. The provisional answer key is expected to be published between June 16 and 18, 2025, a few days after the entrance exams are held on 11 June 2025 for UG courses and 12 June 2025 for PG & PhD courses. After the release of the provisional answer key, candidates will be able to raise objections in the challenge window provided. The final answer key will be released with the declaration of results on 23 June 2025.

The UPCATET 2025 answer key is important for all the candidates who have given the exam, as it allows them to calculate their marks before the declaration of the official result. UPCATET Answer Key 2025

The CSAUAT will release the answer key once the exams are held on 11 and 12 June 2025. The answer key will consist of all the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam, and candidates can match their responses with the official answer key.

How to Download UPCATET Answer Key 2025? 

The UPCATET answer key will be officially released on the official website of the UPCATET, and candidates can follow the steps mentioned to download it. 

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of the UPCATET 2025 https://upcatet.net/

Step 2: Find the answer key link for UPCATET on the homepage of the site.

Step 3: Look for the link “UPCATET 2025 Answer Key” (Provisional or Final) and click on it.

Step 4: Log in to the account and enter your registration number, password, and security code to access the candidate dashboard.

Step 5: Choose your paper set and select the appropriate question paper code (e.g., Set A, B, C, or D).

Step 6: Download the answer key by clicking on the download button next to the paper set. The answer key will be saved as a PDF file on your device.

UPCATET Answer Key 2025 Release Date

The UPCATET 2025 answer key is expected to be released a few days after the exam is concluded on 12 June 2025. The CSAUAT has not officially announced the date of the answer key, but it is expected to be published before the declaration of the final results on 23 June 2025.

UPCATET Answer Key 2025 Marking Scheme

The UPCATET 2025 exam paper consists of 200 questions for UG and PG courses and 100 questions for PhD and MBA courses. There is a -1 negative marking in the exam for every incorrect answer, and 4 marks will be provided for every correct answer. The detailed marking scheme is shown below.

How to Calculate Your Score

Step 1: Count your correct answers and multiply that number by 4 

Step 2: Count your incorrect answers and multiply that number by 1 (each incorrect = ?1 mark).

Step 3: Apply the formula: 

Total Score = (Correct × 4) ? (Incorrect × 1). Unanswered questions don't affect your score.

Example: Correct Answers: 120

Incorrect Answers: 40 

Estimated Score = (120 × 4) ? (40 × 1) = 480 ? 40 = 440 marks
