The application process has already been done between July 2025 to 30th November 2025(Tentative), except for MBBS Programs for which admission will be decided after the results of NEET UG 2026. 

AMU provides various undergraduate courses such as B.Tech, MBBS, B.Sc, BCA, B.Ed under the specialisations Biochemistry, Physics, Arts, Computer Applications, Civil Engineering, etc. The UG course typically lasts for 1 to 5.5 years, with a total tuition fee from INR 8,000 to INR 16,00,000.

UG Program

To become eligible for B.Tech, BA, B.Sc, etc., students must have 50% of the aggregate marks in Class 12 with the relevant subjects from a recognised board or university. Also, candidates must not be more than 24 years old as of 1 July of the same year.

Additionally, candidates have to qualify for Departmental Entrance Exams (if Applicable) and National Level Entrance Examination(if Applicable) to become eligible for the desired course.

PG Program

Admission to the PG course such as MA, M.Sc, MSW, etc., is determined by passing the departmental entrance test, along with the eligibility standards, such that the candidate must have a graduate degree with passing marks of 50% to 60%, depending on the course from a recognised university. Moreover, the candidates must not be more than 27 years old as of 1 July of the same year.

Candidates who want to take admission in M.Tech or MD courses must have passed the GATE and NEET PG exams with valid scores.

PhD Program

AMU is offering a 3-year PhD program to its students. The candidates must pass the postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% in a required subject from a recognized university.

It is also essential to obtain at least 50% of marks in the written entrance exam conducted by the university to become eligible for the interview.

Applicants who have passed the JRF Test, NET/GATE/GRE/M.Phil, or UGC/UGC-CSIR, are exempted from the written test, but candidates should clear the interview round.

Diploma Programs

Admission to Diploma programs will be available to candidates who have passed their Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board or university.

Certificate Programs

Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board are eligible to apply for admission to Certificate programs.
