Doon University Admission 2025: Doon University admissions for the 2025-26 academic session for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs have closed now. The official notification of admissions was released on 11 April 2025 and the application deadline was 31 August 2025.

The university will conduct entrance exams for UG and PG programs on 21 and 22 June, 2025. For MBA applicants, GD/PI will be held from 23 June to 30 June, 2025. The results of the entrance exams will be announced on 5 July, 2025, and the merit list will be published on 10 July, 2025. Counselling and registration, with fee submission, will take place from 17 July to 26 July, 2025. For new students the classes will start from 28 July 2025 for UG and PG Courses. UG Programs

At Doon University, the eligibility for most undergraduate courses is similar for most programs. Students must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 50% marks (5% relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates). PG Programs

• M.Sc Physics: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics as one of the subjects from a recognised university. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 50% (40% for the reserved categories) marks. 
• M.Sc Mathematics: Applicants should hold a graduate degree with Mathematics as a subject, with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST from Uttarakhand), from a UGC-recognised university.
• MBA (Master of Business Administration): A Bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST from Uttarakhand) is required. Admission is based on a valid MAT/CAT score, followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
• Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc): Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from a recognised university, with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST from Uttarakhand).
• MA in Theatre: Applicants must be graduates in any stream (Arts, Humanities, Science, or Social Sciences) from a recognised university, with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST from Uttarakhand).

PhD Programs: To apply for PhD programs at Doon University, candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a university recognised by the UGC. Students should have secured at least 55% marks in their postgraduation studies.
