AJ Institute Of Medical Sciences And Research Centre
The AJ Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre was established in Mangalore, Karnataka, in 2002. The Institute is affiliated with Bangalore's Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS).
The Institute offers MBBS, MD, MS, M.Ch., and DM programmes, as well as paramedical courses. The MBBS programme is five years long and has 150 seats; the MD, MS, and Diploma programmes are two years long and have fifteen, four, and three specialisations, respectively.

AJ Institute Of Medical Sciences And Research Centre Admission:
AJ Institute of Medical Sciences also provides super specialty courses in M.Ch for three years and DM in Cardiology for two years. Paramedical courses include a three-year B.Sc. programme with eleven specialisations and a three-year M.Sc. programme with four specialisations.
- NEET UG is used to select candidates for admission to MBBS programmes.
- Admission to MD, MS, and Diploma courses is through NEET PG, and admission to M.Ch. & DM courses is through NEET SS.
- Admission to paramedical courses (B.Sc. & M.Sc.) is based on candidates' performance in the qualifying examination and the score obtained in the Institute's personal interview round.
- Applicants must have a 10+2 diploma with English as a compulsory language and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects and a minimum of 50% in aggregate to be considered for admission to MBBS programmes.
- Those with an MBBS or equivalent degree from RGUHS, Bangalore, or any other recognised University/Institute are eligible for admission to the MD, MS, and Diploma programmes.
- MS Degree is the minimum requirement for admission to M.Ch.
- Candidates with an MD degree are eligible for admission to the DM programme.
- Students who have passed the RGUHS Pre-University Examination with English as a compulsory language and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects are eligible for admission to B.Sc.
- Candidates must have a B.Sc. MLT degree to be admitted to the M.Sc. programme.
AJ Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS Admission:
The Institute offers a five-year MBBS programme with a total enrollment of 150 students.
Candidates who have passed the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore's 10+2/HSC or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects and English as one compulsory language and not more than 50% in aggregate are considered eligible for admission to the MBBS programme.
The candidate is chosen based on their NEET UG score, which is administered by CBSE.

Key Points to remember for MBBS Admission:
- The counselling for 15% All India quota seats is conducted by the Directorate General Health Services, Govt. of India.
- Admission for Management Quota seats is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination.
AJ Institute of Medical Sciences MS, MD and Diploma Admission:
- The college offers two-year MS, MD, and Diploma programmes, with four and eight seats available in each course, respectively.
- Applicants who have completed or are pursuing MBBS from a University recognised by the Medical Council of India and have completed the mandatory one-year rotational internship from any Institute recognised by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council are eligible for admission to MS, MD, and Diploma programmes.
- To be eligible for the PG programme, the candidate must have an MBBS degree.
- Admission is granted to qualified candidates based on their NEET PG score or rank.

- 12th grade Original and three attested copies of the mark sheet or passing certificate
- Class 10th Passing Certificate - Original and three attested copies for proof of date of birth
- Certificate of eligibility (for SC/ST/OBC candidates)

- A valid passport and a student visa are required (for NRI candidates)
