    Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) Exam


    Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) Exam is organized by the state common entrance test cell, Mumbai. This exam is conducted for the courses engineering and technology programs (BE / B. Tech) and Pharmacy program (BPharma / PharmD) in Maharashtra. Through this exam, students get admission to private and government colleges in Maharashtra.

    MH CET Exam fees are from INR 600-800. This exam is conducted online (computer-based) and involves multiple type questions for the entire paper. There are a total of 50 questions in each exam which consist of 100 marks question papers. Each paper time duration is 90 minutes. 

    The exam paper consists of the syllabus of 11th and 12th subjects which includes physics, chemistry, biology, and math. For each correct answer, students will gain +1 marks but in the math section students will gain+2 marks and there is no negative marking scheme in this exam.

    MH CET Exam Eligibility Criteria

    MH CET Exam eligibility criteria are decided by the state common entrance test cell, Mumbai. They designed it according to every student keeping in mind that they should not face any kind of difficulty while applying and clearly understand the requirement of the exam to get enrolled in colleges of Maharashtra. Eligibility criteria is:

    • For the exam, there is no maximum age limit for the students to apply but students who are below 16 years cannot sit for the exam.
    • Students should have qualified scores in their 10+2 in physics, chemistry, and math/biology.

    Only those students can apply who have an eligible score in their class 12th for sitting in MH CET exam 2023. Students have to register themselves for the colleges in Maharashtra. They have to be in after getting a valid score in the exam. They can choose any of the colleges in Maharashtra if their score matches the eligibility criteria given by the particular university.
