BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences, or BGSGMIS, was founded in Bangalore, Karnataka, in 2012. It is one of the most prestigious and well-known privately established medical colleges in Karnataka.
The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science is affiliated with the college. It is supported by the Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust, which was founded in 1973 with the goal of providing social, educational, and medical services to people in Karnataka through a spiritual lens.
Courses such as MBBS, MD, and MS are available and are approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences Admissions:
Students who apply must have passed the P.U.C (two-year) examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The Karnataka Government's Common Entrance Test (C.E.T) or the Consortium of Private Medical Colleges of Karnataka's COMED-K are used to select students.
How to Apply?
- Admission to the BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences in Bangalore is based on the results of the K-CET or the COMED-K exam. It is a merit-based admissions process.
- Students must thus pass the KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) OR the COMED-K.
- Qualified students should complete an application form on the BGSGIMS website.
- Following that, seat allocation, document verification, and fee payment will take place before final admission is granted.

BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences Facilities:
- Medical College- All departments of Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-Chemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine have been designed in accordance with MCI standards.
- Lecture Halls- The Institute has updated lecture theatres that are very spacious and can accommodate over 250 students, as well as audio-visual equipment such as projectors, etc. Digital learning has been implemented through the recording of live lectures, e-learning, and highly secured exam halls.
- College Library- A large library with seating for over 400 students, journals, and books, as well as a computer lab, internet, and audio-visual equipment.
- Hostels: The institute has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, each with all necessary amenities such as a hostel mess, security, and recreation rooms.
- Indoor and outdoor games, a gymnasium, a badminton court, and table tennis equipment are available for students to exercise and maintain a healthy attitude at the Health Club.
- Students have access to a separate cafeteria that serves healthy and nutritious food at an affordable price. The institute also has another canteen for patients and their families.
- Teaching Hospital- The institute has a well-equipped teaching hospital for students, with 300 beds available for first-year M.B.B.S. students. Medical and allied services, i.e. General Medicine, Paediatrics, Tuberculosis and Chest Medicine, Dermatology, and Psychiatry each have 120 beds; Surgical & Allied, i.e. There are 140 beds in General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, and ENT, and 40 beds in Obstetrics and Gynecology. There are a total of 20 ICU beds available, including PICU, NICU, ICU, and ICCU.
