    Vinayaka Missions University, also known as the Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation (VMRF), is a deemed university recognised by the NAAC and established in Salem, Tamil Nadu, in accordance with Section 3 of the UGC Act of 1956. The university was founded in 1981 as "Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal (TKVTSS) Medical Educational and Charitable Trust" by philanthropist Dr. A. Shanmugasundaram. It received its "deemed to be" status in 2001 and is now a thriving university with a diverse student body. With the motto "Vision, Wisdom, Unity," the university seeks to advance basic science, engineering, dentistry, paramedicine, homoeopathy, and medical education throughout the world.

    More than 15,000 students are enrolled in M.B.B.S., M.D., M.S. courses at the university.

    Vinayaka Missions University Medical Courses:

    Three medical schools at Vinayaka Missions University offer the MBBS, MD, MS, and PG Diploma. The school offers MS degrees in five fields and MD degrees in 13 fields. There are also six additional diploma programmes available. The Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Indian Ministry of Health have both given their approval to the medical colleges.

    Eligibility for MBBS:

    • The applicant must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the year of admission.
    • The student must also achieve at least a 50% percentile on the NEET-UG test.
    • The student must have passed English and completed their 12th grade year with PCB.

    Eligibility for PG courses:

    The student must possess a valid MBBS degree and permanent registration with MCI or another state medical council in order to practise medicine.

    Vinayaka Missions University Admission:

    Salem, Tamil Nadu is home to Vinayaka Missions University (VMU), formerly known as Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation. Since its founding in 1981, VMU has provided undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level education in the fields of medicine, dentistry, paramedicine, homoeopathy, engineering, technical and management sciences, humanities, arts, and science.

    • The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, conducts online counselling after the NEET Exam to determine admission to dental and medical (UG, PG, & PG Diploma) programmes.
    • The NEET-UG Entrance Exam score is used as the basis for admission to the BHMS degree programme.
    • The All Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, conducts the common PG Entrance Examination of AIAPGET, which is used to determine admission to the M.D. (Homoeopathy) Degree programme.
    • The NATA Entrance Exam, administered by the Council of Architecture, is used to determine admission to the B.Arch. degree programme (COA).
    • All other programmes (undergraduate, graduate, and diploma) are admitted based on the marks attained in the qualifying examination, which is followed by a personal interview conducted by the university.

    Vinayaka Missions University MBBS Admission:

    At the undergraduate level, Vinayaka Missions University offers medical courses. A one-year internship is required after the four and a half years of the M.B.B.S programme at VMU.     Vinayaka Missions University MD, MS Admission:

    The university offers a variety of postgraduate courses in a range of medical science fields. Among the degrees offered by VMU are the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) with eight different specialisations, the Doctor of Medicine (MD) with twenty different specialisations, the Master of Surgery (MS) with four specialisations, and the Master in Physiotherapy (MPT) programme with seven different specialisation subjects.

    The MD, MS programmes are three years long, while the MPT programme is only two years long. NEET PG Entrance Exam Score will Be Used To Determine Selection For MDS/ MD. In contrast, admissions to MS/MPT programmes will be based on merit and include a personal interview.

    Applying for admission to Vinayaka Missions University can be done in one of three ways:
