ELIGIBILITY CRITERIAÂ
Academic Requirement:
Candidates must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board, council, or university, and must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually, as well as a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology taken together. Candidates must have completed English as a mandatory/core subject.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST or OBC must obtain 40% in the qualifying examination, while candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs as defined by the MCI must obtain 45% in the qualifying examination.
The candidates must be at least 17 years old.
Entrance Exam:
Candidates must have passed the NEET examination with a minimum score of 50 percentile.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MS
Academic Requirement:
The candidate must have a recognised MBBS degree or equivalent qualifications and must have obtained permanent registration with the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils within one month of his/her admission date, or his/her admission will be cancelled.
In the case of a foreign national, the Medical Council of India may grant temporary registration for the duration of the postgraduate training restricted to the prescribed college/institution to which he/she is admitted for the time being exclusively for postgraduate studies upon payment of the prescribed fee for registration. Temporary registration shall be granted to such foreign national on the condition that he/she is duly registered as a medical practitioner in the country where he/she obtained his/her basic medical qualification and that his/her degree is recognised by the corresponding medical council or the concerned authority.
NOTE:
Degree programmes will be three years long. In the case of students who have completed a recognised two-year diploma course in the same subject, the training period for the MD/MS Course will be two years.
