    One of the top communication schools in India, Amity School of Communication (ASCO) was founded in 1999 by Ritnana Balved Education Foundation.     Amity School of Communication (ASCO) offers undergraduate degrees in five specialisations in both morning and evening sessions, postgraduate degrees in three disciplines, an MBA in media management and media and public relations, and Ph.D. (research programmes) in mass communication (both full-time and part-time).

    • Candidates for the B.A. programme must have earned a 10+2 diploma from an accredited board.
    • Since English is the primary language of instruction at Amity, it is a required subject for 10+2 students.
    • Candidates for the M.A. programme must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
    • Admission to the MBA programme is contingent upon having a graduation degree with at least a 50% average.
    • Candidates may also sit for college level entrance on the day of selection, but applicants to the MBA programme must take the national-level CAT entrance exam or an equivalent exam.
    • Final admission decisions for B.A. and M.A. programmes are based on qualifying exam performance, followed by counselling and an interview.
    • Students with a cumulative grade point average of 80% or higher are exempt from the selection process.
    • Subject to clearance, Amity also offers a Ph.D. in mass communication.
    • Those wishing to apply for a Ph.D. course will take a written exam.
    • Candidates who have successfully completed an All India Exam or NET administered by the UGC, CSIR, ICAR (ASRB), GPAT, ICMR, or GATE will not be required to participate in the written portion of the selection process.
    • They must, however, show up for the personal interview.
    • The deadline for doctoral applications is June 25, 2021.

    Three-year full-time B.A. programmes are available from Amity School of Communication in a number of subject areas. Students may continue their education by pursuing a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, Film and Television Production, or Mass Communication - International.

    To be eligible to apply for the B.A. programme, a student must have completed their 10+2 degree in any specialization.     Aspiring students can choose from two basic specialisations in the MBA programme: media management and public relations, and event management.

    To be eligible for the admissions selection process, applicants for the programmes must meet the requirements. To be eligible to apply for an MBA, you must have graduated with at least a 50% GPA.     • On the day of the selection process interview, candidates who did not appear for any national level entrance exams may take the college level test.

    To match one's aptitude and interests, Amity offers a wide range of career degrees and programs. Amity School of Communication accepts applications both online and offline for admission to its range of programs. This is how the application process works:

    Online Mode:

    • You can access the admissions form online.
    • The cost of the admission form, which is INR 1,100, must be paid online with a credit or debit card.
    • Only complete the application if you meet the requirements for admission to the programme.
    • If you took a qualifying exam and are awaiting the results, you may apply provisionally to proceed with the admissions process at your own risk.
    • You must provide your email address because the admissions office will use it for all communications regarding your admission.
    • A recent passport-size photo must be included.
    • Upload your class 10 grade report along with the application.
    • Once the form is finished, submit it and wait for further notifications from the college administration.
    • Visit your admission microsite using the form number and password printed on the first page of your application form to check the status of your admission.
    • Verify the registration status of your form as well as whether or not it has been received.

    • It usually takes 3 to 5 working days for your form to be processed after you receive confirmation on your Admission Micro website that it has been received.

    • The application process will begin in January and April of 2021 for graduate and undergraduate programmes, respectively.
    • Through the Amity microsite, the college will inform the applicant of their selection.
