Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU)
Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan (MMU Solan) is a private university founded in 2010. MMU offers 37 UG and PG courses in four different schools: Computer Technology, Medicine & Health Sciences, Business Management, and Engineering & Technology. Admission is based on merit as well as entrance exams such as NEET-UG, NEET-PG, JEE Main, and GATE. A qualifying MAT exam is required for MBA and PGDM programmes. When the admission session begins, it provides both (online and offline) modes of admission.
MBBS is the most popular and preferred programme at MMU, Solan, with 150 students receiving 100% placement. This university's B.Tech programme is another master's degree programme in which 80% of students are placed each year. Every year, companies such as Amazon, Flipkart, Deloitte, Wipro, and Infosys visit and offer an average salary package of INR 4-5 LPA.

MMDU Solan MBBS Application Process :
Candidates must complete a separate application form for each course. NEET-UG qualified candidates applying for MBBS counselling can fill out the application form online at the MMDU website. NRI applicants seeking admission to the MBBS course must apply offline by downloading the form and mailing it in.

(MMDU) UG Admission: B.Sc (Medical), B.Sc (Nursing), BOT, BPT & MBBS
MMDU offers B.Tech (Regular and Lateral), B.Sc (Medical), B.Sc (Nursing), BPT, BOT and MBBS courses in various disciplines at UG level.
Candidates who have completed 10+2 with five subjects and English as one of the mandatory subjects and have obtained a minimum of 45% (40% for ST/ SC candidates) in Physics, Biology, and one of these subjects viz. Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology taken together are considered eligible for MBBS admission.
Applicants who have completed 10+2 with at least 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English are eligible to apply for admission to MBBS, B.Sc (Nursing/B.Sc (Medical), BPT, and BOT programmes.
The university has a separate entrance test for B.Sc (Nursing). Admission to MBBS is contingent on a valid NEET UG score.

Points to Remember:
- The candidate must be at least 17 years old on December 31st of the year of admission.
- Applicants who have passed the National Open School qualifying examination are also eligible for admission to the MBBS programme.
- For admission to the MBBS programme, the University conducts two rounds of counselling
- NRI candidates are admitted to the MBBS programme based on their performance in the NEET-UG.
- For the B.Sc Nursing course, 85% of the seats are reserved for open candidates and 15% for NRI candidates.
- Seat distribution for all courses is in the ratio of 25:75 for State Quota and Management Quota, according to university regulations.
MMDU Solan MD, MS, M.Sc (Medical) & M.Sc (Nursing) Admission:
At the postgraduate level, MMDU offers MD, MS, M.Sc (Medical), and M.Sc (Nursing) programmes in a variety of disciplines. The minimum eligibility criteria for MD and MS courses is an MBBS degree from a recognised institute. M.Sc. (Medical) admission is entirely merit-based, whereas a valid NEET PG score is the primary requirement for MD and MS admission.

MMU Placement:
Placement Experience: MBBS doctors are only placed after completing the course, which is after 5-1/2 years, not before. Companies do not conduct placement visits to medical schools. You must apply for various medical-related jobs on your own, or you can continue your education. We have a high percentage of students who are placed in the government sector. Many of our seniors performed admirably in the neet pg.
