JSS Medical College Admission:
JSS Medical College (JSSMC) is an Indian medical college located in Mysore, Karnataka. The college provides undergraduate MBBS, M.D., and M.S. programmes. and PG Diploma courses at the postgraduate level, as well as three different doctoral research subjects.
The MBBS course is available for five and a half years, whereas all postgraduate courses are available for three years.
Admission to the MBBS course is based on the candidates' NEET scores, whereas for the PG courses, candidates' COMEDK PGET scores are used to invite candidates to the counselling rounds. For Ph.D. programmes, the college administers a separate entrance exam as well as an interview to evaluate candidates.
JSS Medical College MBBS Admissions:
JSS Medical College offers the MBBS degree at the Undergraduate level for five and a half years, including a year of rotatory internship. The candidate must be 17 years old on or before December 31st of the year of admission to the MBBS course.
The CBSE NEET is used to determine admission to the MBBS programme at JSS Medical College. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) administers the NEET (National Eligibility and Entrance Test) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

50% in 10+2 examination under the Board of Karnataka State with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as optional subjects OR any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Mysore University / Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. For the candidates belonging to SC/ST, the minimum percentage of marks required for the admission process should be 40% in PCB. Preference will be given to the merit students. |

JSS Medical College PG Admissions:
JSS Medical also offers MD, MS, and Diploma degrees at the postgraduate level in a variety of medical specialisations. A candidate applying for these courses must have completed the MBBS degree.
The application process for these PG level courses begins at the end of March, and admission to all of these courses is based on candidates' performance at the COMEDK PGET score.
- Shortlisted candidates are then invited to attend college counselling.
- Applicants must have a permanent registration with any State Medical Council.
COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) is a state-level medical entrance examination that is open to candidates from all over India. This exam serves as a gateway to PG programmes such as MD, MS, and MDS.
