    The Undergraduate M.B.B.S Course at GMERS Medical College & Hospital lasts 5 years and 6 months, with 9 semesters and 1 year of internship. The research is divided into four stages: preclinical, paraclinical, clinical, and post-examination.

    Admissions to GMERS Medical College and Hospital

    Candidates must be 17 years old by December 31, 2020 to be considered for admission.

    The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from either the Gujarat Board or the Central Board of Secondary Education, with the school located in the state of Gujarat; or the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations Board, with the school located in the state of Gujarat.

    Physically challenged candidates and candidates from reserved categories are given exemptions from the qualifying examination under Gujarat government rules.

    The candidate must have passed the NEET examination.

    According to their rules and regulations, the admission committee will prepare and publish the merit list.

    The merit list will be made available on the official website.

    The selected candidates must appear for admissions counselling on the specified date, time, and location.

    How to Apply?

    • A candidate seeking admission must apply online from the official website within the time limit for registration of his/her candidature.
    • Candidates must pay a certain amount as registration fees and obtain an information booklet with a PIN from designated centres.
    • Candidates must correctly complete the registration form and provide accurate information.
    • If a candidate registers more than once, the later registration form will be considered and the former will be cancelled.
    • Candidates are required to contact the Help Centers if they want to change or correct any information.
    • The registration receipt or confirmation will be emailed to the candidate or obtained from the designated Help Centre.

    The registration number and date of application will be printed on the receipt and used as a reference for all future correspondence, including the time of the merit-list.

    GMERS Medical College and Hospital Placements GMERS

    GMERS Medical College places all of its students in civil hospitals. Students must complete a one-year mandatory internship in one of the respected hospitals affiliated with the college.

    Students receive a monthly stipend of at least INR 10,000, which increases on a monthly basis. The faculty assists students in preparing for placements by providing appropriate training and assessment tests.

    Hospital Department: The GMERS Medical College hospital department provides many services such as Clinical Services, Diagnostic Services, and Auxiliary Services, as well as many laboratories for students to gain detailed theory as well as practical experience.

    Library: The Institute's Library contains up-to-date information in the respective subjects, meeting the needs of students and doctors. The library subscribes to several foreign and Indian journals, as well as WHO publications, making it a very rich library in terms of referral and research resources. Both the internal and external libraries have a seating capacity of 150 students. The library has approximately 2837 books and numerous journals. The E library has 25 computers with internet (Broadband) access.

    Hostel: Students at GMERS Medical College can stay in a non-air-conditioned hostel. There are separate hostels for boys and girls at the institute. The rooms are large and well-kept, and they are cleaned on a regular basis.
