Alpha College of Engineering, Chennai
The Alpha Educational Society, a non-profit educational organisation recognised by the Societies Registration Act, 1860, is in charge of operating the Alpha College of Engineering (ACE) in Poonamalle, Chennai. AICTE has approved the 2006-founded Alpha College of Engineering, which is associated with Anna University. In addition to many other subjects, the institute provides undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Management.
AEC has received international recognition as an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Academic Standard by TUV Suddeutschland, Germany. As one of the Top 50 Private Engineering Colleges in India, ACE was granted the prestigious Higher Education Jury Award for 2023.

Alpha College of Engineering Admission
Anna University is connected to Chennai's Alpha College of Engineering. It provides undergraduate and graduate courses in a range of engineering and management specialisations. For the B.Tech programme, the college also provides Lateral Entry admissions.
- The minimal qualification for the B.Tech programme offered by Alpha College of Engineering, Chennai is a 10+2 pass with 50% marks (45% for Backward, 40% for Most Backward/SC/ST/SCA) in the Science (PCM) group. The college provides the programme in multiple streams.
- To be admitted to the B.E/B.Tech programme, applicants had to apply through the Tamil Nadu State Government TNEA counselling process, which is run by Anna University.
- Anybody with a bachelor's degree is qualified to apply to the MBA programme.
- Applicants who want to pursue an MBA must have taken the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu's TANCET admission exam.

ACE MBA Eligibility CriteriaÂ

- Passed academic years under 10+2+3/4 years pattern or
- 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years, Or

ACE MBA Selection Criteria
Based on their performance in the TANCET exam, students are chosen for admission to the ACE MBA programme. Those who meet the requirements for the exam are then invited to the counselling round for ultimate admission.

Alpha College of Engineering Placement
The goal of Alpha College of Engineering's (ACE) Career Development Cell is to support the academic departments in producing graduates who are employable for the industry, as they will be the ones to shape the future of the nation. During the placement drive, ACE offers trainings on Soft Skills and Communication Skills to help students gain confidence. Additionally, the CDC provides students with aptitude training in verbal and nonverbal reasoning, logic, analytical reasoning, and nonverbal reasoning. As a participant in ICTACT Academy, ACE assists students in acquiring the necessary skills through their Youth Circle Programme. Additionally, ACE and ICTACT have an MOU for the creation of a Centre of Excellence for Data Analytics Programme.
