    Dr Pauls Engineering College, Villupuram

In 1998, Dr. Pauls Engineering College was founded. The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has granted the institute recognition and affiliation with Anna University, Chennai.

Dr. Pauls Engineering College provides six specialisations for ME degree programmes and five disciplines for BE degree programmes. They also provide an MBA as a part of their postgraduate curriculum. For BE courses, the college also admits students through a lateral-entry admissions procedure.

    • Applicants for admission to the BE programme must have earned a 50% grade in their 10+2 qualifying exam, with PCM being a required subject.
    • In order to be eligible for BE lateral-entry admission, candidates must possess a diploma in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% grades.
    • BE admissions are determined via the TNEA counselling process administered by Anna University.
    • To be accepted for an MBA, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in any field with 50% of the required points.
    • Admission to the MBA and M.Tech programmes is determined by a candidate's legitimate score on the Anna University-conducted TANCET.
    • Additionally, the college takes MAT results for MBA admission and GATE scores for ME admission.

    Key Points:

    • Those who are waiting for their final results while completing their last year of a bachelor's degree are eligible to apply provisionally for the MBA programme.
    • Valid GATE scores exempt applicants from TANCET and allow them to apply for the ME course.
    • Candidates can apply for MBA admission without taking the TANCET if they have MAT results.
    • The candidate's success in the TANCET exams determines whether they are admitted for management seats as well.

Dr Pauls Engineering College Application Process

Applicants should use the Anna University counselling channel to submit an application for admission to the Dr. Pauls Engineering College's BE programme. On TNEA's official website, notices and applications will be accessible. The application forms are available online and offline, as well as at TNEA centres that have been designated for that purpose.

Applications for admission to the MBA and ME programmes must be made through the TANCET entry process. The announcement and application form for the management seat filling will be distributed offline, and students can ask questions or receive more information by contacting the Institute admission cell.
