In Talegaon, Pune, there is a medical institution called Maharaja Institute of Medical Education and Research (MIMER), sometimes referred to as MIMER Medical institution. The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, is affiliated with the Institute, which was founded in 1995. The Indian Medical Council has approved the Institute. In addition, MIMER received a "A" grade of accreditation from NAAC. It provides candidates MBBS, MS, and MD programs. While admission to the MS and MD exams will be based on the NEET PG Exam, admission to the MBBS program will be based on the NEET UG Entrance Exam.

MIMER Courses:
The Institute offers an MBBS program for undergraduate students as well as MS and MD programs for graduate students. The Institute now offers four MS program specialties and seven MD program specialities.
Course 1: MBBSÂ
The candidate's marks in the Science Stream of the 10+2 exam, with English as the primary subject, will determine whether or not they are admitted to the MBBS program.
Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology are mandatory.
The candidate's score or rank in the NEET UG exam determines their admission to the program, which is then followed by counseling by the Director of Medical Education and Research (DMER).

Course 2: MS and MDÂ

An MBBS degree with a minimum of 50% of the required points is the basic requirement for admission to these programs. On the basis of the candidate's performance in NEET PG, candidates are chosen.
Subject to passing the NEET PG exam, seats are allotted to applicants for admission to any of the MS or MD programs offered by MIMER through DMER counseling. The NEET Board only accepts applications and fee payments made online.

Key Points:
- Candidates must only apply for seats within the 50% All India Quota for NEET PG.
- Candidates from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu and Kashmir who have completed or passed the MBBS program are ineligible for seats under the 50% All India Quota.
Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research Application Process:
To apply for admission to UG courses through NEET UG, follow these steps:
- Candidates may only submit their applications for the NEET program online. The Board does not accept applications submitted offline.
- The official website offers a download for the Information Bulletin.
- Before filling out the form, applicants must carefully read the instructions.
- When filling out the application, candidates must have access to their Aadhar card. In order to ensure the validity of the applicant's information and to confirm the applicant's identity at the examination site, an Aadhar number is necessary.
- Candidates should check that the mobile numbers and email addresses they entered on the online application form are accurate and reachable.
- Candidates must proceed with fee payment after accurately filling out the online application form in order to complete the application process. Credit/debit cards, net-banking/UPI, and e-wallets are all acceptable methods of payment for the application fee.
- Candidates must keep copies of the confirmation page printout and proof of payment as references for upcoming correspondence.
- The admit card for the entrance exam must be downloaded by the candidates at the appointed time from the NEET website.
- Candidates who meet the requirements must register for DMER counseling for seat allocation by going to the relevant website.
Candidates may apply through NEET PG for admission to any of the PG programs provided by MIEMR. The following is the procedure for applying for the same:
- Visit the NBE official website and select the "Register for NEET-PG" link to register for NEET PG.
- The candidate must provide accurate and reliable contact information. Additionally, scanned copies of the user's photo and signature must be uploaded.
- The candidate will be directed to the exam selection screen once they have successfully created their profile. The candidate must choose "National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test- Post Graduate (NEET-PG)" from the drop-down menu in order to register for NEET-PG.
- Candidates must also choose test locations and schedule the exam according to their preferred timing by selecting one of the two session options.
- For general candidates, the NEET PG application fee is INR 3750. Only INR 2750 is required from SC/ST candidates. Only online payment methods are available for fee payments.
